京都大原、雨と写真と…
京都は大原に行ってきた。
京都府下の片田舎に住むぼくは、京都をあまりよく知らない。大原も有名な歌の詞に聞くくらいで行ったことはなかった。たまたま、京阪電車の駅構内で大原のチラシを見た。それで行こうということになった。酷く行き当たりばったりである。ゴールデンウィークだというのに特にどこへという予定もなかったこともある。今さら余りものの宿を取って滑り込むつもりもない。ならば、日帰りで近場を狙うしかない。渡りに船だった。「大原1Dayチケット」という現地施設の利用割引券がセットになった往復乗車券を買って出町柳行きの特急列車に乗り込んだ。
天気は今ひとつだったけれど、ゆっくりと新緑の大原を愉しむのに支障はない。むしろ、好い雰囲気だったとさえ思う。篠突く雨ではさすがに辛いだろうけれど、そこまでの降りじゃない。市街地を離れた京都の静かな道々にはらはらと降る雨には情緒を感じる余裕がある。特に予定のある旅でもない。叡山電車の終点八瀬比叡山口で瑠璃光院に寄り道する。何かというと拝観料を取られるのは辛いけれど、まあ、ああいった古式床しい建物や庭園を維持するのも大変なんだろう。維持管理費用だと思えば払って厭な気はしない。ああしたものが失くなるのは勿体無い。
京都バスで大原へ。ちょうど昼時である。寂光院へ向う途中で腹ごしらえと決める。池谷茶屋という店でとろろ蕎麦と梅ご飯の定食を食す。これが意外なボリュームで腹八分を過ごした。少々重い腹を抱えて寂光院へ向う。実はこの寂光院、平成12年にどこぞ莫迦者が火を放ち焼けてしまった。現在の本堂は平成17年に復元されたものらしい。特別拝観があるというから内容もよく確かめず追加料金を支払った。木立の中にお堂がある。入ってみると、そこには焼けて炭になった地蔵菩薩像が佇立している。そのあまりに悲壮の姿には、さすがに心が痛んだ。
最後に立ち寄ったのは、三千院の少し先にある宝泉院である。かの有名な三千院を素通りしての宝泉院である。ここは一見拝観料が高い。800円もする。けれども、これにはお茶代が含まれる。おうすと茶菓子が付くのである。ひとしきり写真など撮り、散々まったりした挙句、八つ時かという頃にお茶を頂く。なんとなれば、知り合いの家かというくらい気侭に時間を過ごしてしまった。観光というのとは少し違う愉しみかもしれない。特にイベントがあるわけでも、特別奇矯な見ものがあるわけでもない。それが酷く心地好い。こういう旅もいい。とても、いい。

Very useful article. Myself & my neighbor were preparing to do some research about that. We got a good book on that matter from our local library and most books were not as descriptive as your information. I am very glad to see such information which I was searching for a long time.
